Tucker Eastwood headlines Crash Combat 8 in bare-knuckle MMA, his second consecutive Crash main event. At Crash 7 he finished Nicco Hamilton by submission in the first round — he stuffed Hamilton's takedown and, in his words, "it ended up finishing in a neck crank." A Kansas City, Missouri native who now lives out toward Bonner Springs, he prefers the quiet: "I stay out of Kansas City." He trains alongside Rudy Bears and Zeb Vincent, crediting the level of the room — both men have fought at the sport's higher levels — for pushing him. Asked for his game plan, he offered a two-word camp philosophy: "Going hard. We're nitty and gritty... from the time we wake up to the time we go to bed, we're working." He was quick to thank his opponent for taking the fight on short notice.
